On Friday, August 15, 2025, the Fort Folk Fest lit up the Pavilion at Fort DuPont State Park. The featured band, Mother’s Highway Junction, brought their signature blend of folk, Americana, and jam-band energy.
The Music Had Everyone Moving
The setlist was full of life. The music was jammin’, the crowd was jiving, and the Pavilion buzzed with energy. Guests swayed, danced, and sang along while the band’s harmonies and rhythms filled the summer air.
A Generous Raffle Winner
One of the night’s most memorable moments came during the 50/50 raffle. The lucky winner chose to donate their prize back to the Friends of Fort DuPont. That generosity will help fund more community events at the Fort.
Perfect Summer Weather
After a hot summer afternoon, the evening cooled down just in time. A light breeze swept through the Pavilion, creating an ideal setting for live music under the stars. Families spread out on picnic blankets, while friends relaxed in lawn chairs, enjoying the perfect vibe.
Community and Connection
The Fort Folk Fest is more than just music. It’s about neighbors coming together, families making memories, and visitors discovering the beauty of Delaware City. With free admission, local food vendors, and high-quality performers, the series has become a beloved tradition.
Up Next at the Fort
The series continues in September with The Honey Badgers, who will close out the season with their heartfelt harmonies and storytelling. Don’t miss this final concert of the summer!
