DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the beauty of spring at Fort DuPont State Park during our Native Flora Walk: Spring Bloom. This guided walk builds on the success of last year’s popular programs. It offers a chance to enjoy seasonal blooms and discover the native plant life that makes spring at Fort DuPont so special. \nLarry McLaren\, Landscape Manager for the Fort DuPont Redevelopment and Preservation Corporation\, will lead the walk. He will share insight into the landscape\, native flora\, and the natural character of the park. Whether you joined us last year or are visiting for the first time\, this walk offers a chance to slow down\, explore the trails\, and enjoy the colors of spring in a historic setting. \nFriends of Fort DuPont\, the Fort DuPont Redevelopment and Preservation Corporation\, and Delaware State Parks are presenting this program in partnership. Together\, they create outdoor experiences that connect visitors with the natural and cultural resources of Fort DuPont. \nThere is no fee to attend\, and parking is free.
