Join the Delaware City and Polktown community for the Delaware City Juneteenth Celebration on Friday, June 19, 2026, with a full day of remembrance, culture, history, and community.

The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a Juneteenth Commemorative Service at the African Union Church Cemetery, honoring the history, legacy, and significance of Juneteenth. From noon to 8:00 p.m., the celebration continues at Delaware City Battery Park with a Black-Owned Businesses and Organizations Cultural Expo, featuring vendors, community organizations, music, line dancing, and opportunities to support Black-owned businesses.

The evening concludes with a live R&B and soul performance by Best Kept Soul from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Battery Park Gazebo. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or a lawn blanket. In the event of rain, the performance will move to the Delaware City Community Center.
