Native Flora Walk: Fall Foliage
Wrap up the 2026 Native Flora Walk series with a fun and scenic Fall Foliage Walk on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Fort DuPont. Presented by the Friends of Fort DuPont in partnership with Delaware State Parks, this free event is the third and final walk in this year’s three-part series.
Come enjoy the beauty of the season as we explore the Fort’s landscape and take in the changing colors of fall. This guided walk is a great opportunity to experience Fort DuPont in a new way, learn more about its natural setting, and enjoy a relaxed morning outdoors with others who appreciate nature and the outdoors.
Whether you joined us for the earlier walks or are coming for the first time, this is a wonderful way to celebrate the season and close out the series. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. This event is free and open to the public.
